Arlington Public Schools, VA: Classification and Compensation Study

Evergreen was hired by the Arlington Public Schools to conduct a Classification and Compensation Study. Evergreen will perform the following tasks: review current job descriptions and titles to ensure they align with duties and responsibilities and accurately reflect the scope of comparable roles in other school districts; evaluate job complexity and its alignment with compensation to ensure equitable pay; identify peer school districts or relevant organizations; assess the internal pay structure; analyze career advancement opportunities; provide specific recommendations for salary adjustments; develop an action plan to implement recommended changes; and recommend strategies for continuously monitoring and updating the compensation structure to maintain competitiveness and equity.
